Whether drawing from life, rendering objects in quiet detail, or distilling figures into simplified shapes, I’m interested in structure beneath the surface. Line, shadow, and color are used deliberately, often sparingly, to reveal weight, tension, and presence. While architecture trained me to think in systems and proportion, studio art allows me to explore the human scale more directly, through gesture, atmosphere, and the discipline of looking closely.
